For my sister’s baby shower, I designed a mural that incorporated the environment my sister & brother-in-law love. First, I created a sketch in Illustrator. I then mapped out the design on the wall and painted in the base shapes with the pre-determined color palette. As a part of the baby shower, guests came in groups and added to the mural based on the sketch that I provided them. This was my sister’s idea, so that Baby Cam had a touch of all who love her on her wall every day! Lastly, as thank you cards for the baby shower, I created an illustrator drawing of our “updated” mural design, based on the creative liberties our guests took. As my first mural, it was a fun & collaborative effort!
